Dr. Parth Patel is an ophthalmologist who is currently the medical director and chief surgeon at Shreem Netra Laya, Mumbai. He is also a consultant at Saifee hospital, Mumbai.
After completing his MBBS from Grant medical college, Mumbai, Dr. Parth had a special passion for ophthalmology. He completed his MS ophthalmology from the prestigious Armed forces medical college as a Gold medalist. Even during his residency, he showed extraordinary skill and passion, which led him to publish multiple articles and manage rare and complex cases.
He then pursued his fellowship in advanced Kerato-refractive surgery from Gulani vision institute, USA. Here, he managed complex refractive and corneal cases from all over the world . Dr. Parth is the first fellow from india in the niche super speciality of corneoplastique.
After returning to India, Dr. Parth wished to serve poor patients and worked in rural Maharashtra with a charitable hospital. Here he managed an opd of over 125 patients/day along with a huge number of surgeries.
Having done thousands of surgeries and having extensive experience in managing complex cases, Dr. Parth was invited to join corporate hospitals in rural Kerala, where he worked as a senior surgeon for a few years. Here too, he was instrumental in introducing new techniques and treatments while he managed high volumes of patients. Dr. Parth Patel has always had a passion for precision and perfection.
